All Sloan Banjos sold by Sloan Banjos LLC include a 1 year limited warranty.

Sloan Banjos are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1-year from the date of purchase. Warranty excludes accessories and cases. Please see below for limitations and restrictions to this warranty. Sloan Banjos will, at its option, repair or replace any item found to have been defective in materials or manufacture under the terms stated here. Sloan Banjos shall be the sole arbiter of eligibility for warranty repair or replacement. Sloan Banjos liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective items.

To be eligible for warranty coverage, the original purchaser of the item must:

1.                  Complete the online Warranty registration form at www.sloanbanjos.com within 15 days of the original purchase

2.                  Send the defective item, together with a copy of the original receipt of purchase, to Sloan Banjos for repair or replacement of the defective item.

Sloan Banjos reserves the right to make changes to this warranty. The policies in place at the time of purchase will be honored.

Restrictions:

1.          1-year warranty applies only to original purchaser of instrument

2.          Normal wear and tear (i.e., worn frets, worn machine heads, worn plating, string replacement, or damages to or discoloration of the instrument finish for any reason)

3.         Damage caused by neglect or misuse of instrument is not covered Warranty does not cover strings, cases or other free accessories

4.         Cracking, discoloration or damage of any sort to the finish or plating for any reason

5.         Sloan Banjo does not warranty the playability of an instrument whose "action" is lower than the standard "action"

6.         Natural products, such as wood, cannot be guaranteed against cracking, seam separation, warping of fingerboard or chipping

7.         Delicate instruments are affected by climatic conditions. Exposure to excessive heat, cold, dryness, or moisture is considered neglect

8.          The subjective issue of tonal characteristics

9.         Any instrument that has unauthorized repair or service performed

10.       Shipping damages of any kind, to or from Sloan Banjos

11.       Instrument adjustment is not covered by this warranty

SLOAN BANJOS LLC MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER. ALL IMPLIED, WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEEDING THE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND/OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO THAT THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

SLOAN BANJOS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION. DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INSTRUMENT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, EVEN IF SLOAN BANJOS LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, SLOAN BANJOS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, CLAIMS, OR SUITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY OF THE FOREGOING.
